Vga Mod Question
« on: September 18, 2011, 03:04:00 PM »

ok so my av port on my xenon is fucked, so i thought i might as well remove it all together and wire a vga port up to it, well i soldered it up and tried booting it but it got the 4 lights, so it wasn't finding the vga port even though a cable was plugged in.

so i thought i would try bridging the MODE select for vga on the board itslef, well it boots but now i have no picture, and no its not my wiring, i checked before i remove the av port and it booted fine.

am i missing a wire or something? any points i need to bridge to get the picture to show up?

thanks in advance smile.gif

I think bridging the mode select will leave you with both vga and a/v selected(grounded) at the same time, you need to have only the vga line grounded for it to work.
