I know this question has been asked to death, but once again here's someone asking.

I recently bought the MS HDMI cable for Xbox. Plugged it in and my GAWD is the video beautiful. But of course if something is too good to be true it usually is and there's no audio.

I've been on the interweb on different forums looking up different possible answers and a lot of it is the same old song and dance, and one of the common solutions is turning off the "display discovery" but for some reason I don't have that option in my console settings.

I've tried every conceivable plug match up, tried it when the switch is on TV and HDMI, tried different TV settings (HDMI1, Console1 and 2) but to no avail! Aside from virgin sacrifices I'm at my wits end as to what I can do.

Any help offered would be great.
In the mean time I'm going to play in it's crappy settings again..
