Digital Audio From Standard Av Cable?

25 and 27 are used for Optical Audio. A standard (RCA) 360 A/V cable won't even have the pins in the cable itself. If you want to use Optical Audio, you could just slide out the pins from something else (it's not that hard) on the socket, move them to 25 and 27, then solder in a port...though it would be a lot easier to get a component cable from GameStop or something.

It depends largely on the display, but you *potentially* get your best picture from HDMI.

I just found this thread linked in another thread. It has a pinout for all the of 360's A/V cables. To add a coaxial digital output, you just need to solder the positive lead to pin 25, and the negative to pin 27...
