Standard DVD players are 480p. IF you want to have ur DVDs upsampled, you'll have ta buy a DVD player with DVI/HDMI outs (and upsampling capabilities of course)

Or just mod your xbox 1, and put xbmc on it; xbmc upsamples DVD's to 720p or 1080i.
