Component Video Inputs On Non Hdtvs

It will accept a 480i input. In theory, component should be better. In reality you might notice a little improvement over s-video. Or maybe none. You'd probably see more of a benefit on a larger screen.

Component video is SUBSTANTIALLY better in quality even on 480i displays.

Though I'm not sure if the 360 can actually support 480i through component.

I agree but I made that comment because Ive seen mixed results. Usually it does look better. I always advise people to use it if they have it but on some displays (read: cheap/small) I dont notice much if any difference. I think it has a lot to do with the quality of the tv and the source youre sending over it.  Manobeer, if you end up picking up this tv let us know how it goes. Im curious myself.

That's true... I've seen cheaper TVs that used different circuitry to handle the S-Video connections and made them look WORSE then composite  blink.gif

I think for most cases though if the display is nice enough to even offer Component input it probably utilizes it better then composite and S-video.
