everywhere I read and saw says this game sucks compared to older additions

i'm assuming it was rushed as well...

there's also no superstar mode like in the current gen console releases, which i highly enjoyed...

But what do i know... i haven't played it

just buy the xbox 1 version and go to xbox.com to dl the new update of backwards compatible games.

I doubt the game sucks as you so put it. However, it does have features that are stripped down. They built the game from the ground up from little time they had. So no mini-camp, no superstar. You have just teh simple play now and simple franchise mode. New animations no seen on previous madden and HD updated graphics that look pretty darn good. That's about it. Madden does no suck, the only the thing that sucks are the features they left out.

The first time I played it I was amazed by the graphics but gameplay sucked. But now after a while and half the season in franchise mode I really like it. It really doesn't have anythig but a full football game but it is sometime kinda nice only doing that and not worrying about other things.

I do think they should have added some minigames though.

Its alright man, if you want a football game its your only choice. Believe me, I know about Madden. This one for 360, its too arcadish, the game was rushed big time. There is no challenege. There is NO way to change the camera. The button configuration changed once AGAIN. Like I said its a good football game, itl take some getting used too, the next ones are gonna be BADASS though I can tell ya that.

im not having any probs with my 360, but i have noticed during playin madded quite a few times that the play clock, score, and yardage/downs texxt at the bottoms gets all jumbled up, like it doesnt refresh and gets layers up. hard to figure out whats going on

If you can do it (draft team in franchise) I haven't figured it out. They left out coach's challanges...that is a disgrace. Just play with your old xbox game until the next one comes out.

Im sorry yall but Ive been a madden fan for years and I think this ones garbage.Gameplay is just not cutting it.Most of the players look nothing like real life.Think Im lying?take a look at 75% of the quaterbacks.NBA 2K6 is the nicest looking player animations. Lives o.k. but how they start off the game perfusly sweatting is weak.no create a player on madden sucks.Pretty much a rushed bummer title.

I think the worst thing about the new madden is the play calling. Anyone else like the older madden version of play calling more than this gay fever version?

well ive always been a non madden fan (gameday then espn) so im kinda biased but the gameplay after u get used to it (4-5 hours for me) its pretty fun and realistic. Considering there isnt any other nfl games due to EA buying the liscence im gonna go pick this up with a 10 dollar discount from best buy. The peoples faces are screwed up cept for big name guys like Vick etc. Owell I just need my football fix.
