Updated Halo 3 Discussion Rules

We're less than a week away from the game's launching, so we have the need to address some important issues regarding Halo 3.

1.  Piracy Talk
Don't.  Any talk of or hints too illegal downloads or acquisition of copyrighted material will get you banned.  Period.  Pay for the content (or get it the right way, as with the Beta).  This goes for the Beta, retail game, and any future downloadable content that will inevitably be released for the game through the Marketplace.

2.  Hacking/Modding
Just as with Halo 2:
  • No discussion threads/topics/posts about how to Hack Halo 3
  • No discussion threads/topics/posts about how to Mod Halo 3
  • No discussion threads/topics/posts about how to PPF Halo 3 or How to Cheat on Halo 3
  • No discussion threads/topics/posts about how to use or find downloaded Halo 3 content
  • Absolutely NO LINKS, direct, indirect, or otherwise to files or other sites hosting Halo 3 Maps, Map Packs, Halo 2 PPF’s, Hacks, Mods, Instructions or scripts etc.
  • No Discussion threads/topics/posts about "When will Halo 3 be hacked?"
  • No Discussion threads/topics/posts about cheating on LIVE.  FOLLOW THE XBOX LIVE TOS.  We're not here to help you break it.
Follow the Rules and Acceptable Posting Policy for Xbox-Scene
3.  Spoilers
OK, we get it.  You have the game, and you've finished it.  You want to be the first to post the ending.  Look, this gives you no cred.  Don't post the ending to a game that hasn't even been released yet.  If someone wants to know bad enough, they can find it.
