« on: October 14, 2005, 08:35:00 PM »

I hope halo 3 lives up to it's hype and gets even better so does bungie and MS because once again halo will sell xbox's and xboxlive subscriptions. i noticed on bungies site looks like they are trying to gather some staff full time and part time. maybee this time they dont want to dispaoint and perhaps have it ready for spring 2006. here is a few links.

http://www.bungie.ne...3B-E09D4A3118BF

http://www.bungie.ne...ion=Main&page=1

i cant wait for this game. i know for 360 i am buying alive subscription just for halo 3. most people i know who have live onlh play halo 2 and this time without the credit card bottle neck to get on live looks like alot more people are going to get on xbox live. maybee they should hire a few more testers so a few less bugs perhaps and glitches.  tongue.gif

seems to me if you read especially the second link with the job descriptions sounds like halo to me (xbox live programmer, artists, creating  alien and human creatures/ the way they move, campign designer.)

Preparing for Halo 3? You mean currently in the middle of developing Halo 3.

Hiring people for your large software developing company is no phenomenon. They need workers, so they are hiring some. It might be for Halo 3, maybe another game. What's so special about that? It's like freaking out over MS hiring a research and development manager because they might be designing the third Xbox installment. You know it's happening, so why are you suprised? You think that the game will be better because they are hiring a couple of people? Maybe they've hired 50 more people to get started on Halo 3 a year ago. Most jobs in a business of that size (not small) are done through connections, not through their website.

I don't know where to go from here, just that I don't see what the big deal is. Bungie hiring more people to either work on Halo 3 or another gma eot make their games better. So what?  blink.gif

Sorry for the crankyness, I jsut get tired of these kind of threads fast. Sorry.

grr.gif

My brother and I talked about the 360 a little, and his new gf chimed in and acted interested. that was the highlight of the night, lol.

ok back on topic...

I also doubt halo 3 will be released in the summer. Ya just dont release a huge title at the deadest time of year. Sure it would still be huge, but it just goes against the grain.

october '06 will be the soonest its out, but Im liking the '07 better now.

beerchug.gif

Have you ever tried it with Squirt?
That's like one of the smoothest, best tasting, but still very strong drinks you can have. Make sure it's Casadores Tequila and you'll have a blast biggrin.gif

Hey I'm not sure if we can even talk about liquor here haha.

Back on topic, I guess I wasn't thinking straight before but I had a lot of faith on the summer 07 as Halo 3's release date. But I realized what you just said, no point in releasing Halo 3 in the summer as the holiday season is always better.
Plus the Halo DVD will be out by then. I say M$ will use the movie to hype the game or something, I highly doubt it will be vice versa.
