just as the title states. im wondering if you have the option to play offline or is it intirely online only.
would be interested in buying it if i could play offline aswell

also, the characters are stored server side, so there will not be any type of workaround. your only hope is if someone finds a way to make rogue servers like they do with WoW. from what i hear your not missing out on that much at least.

Yeah, FFXI f@ckin sucks. I haven't played it since 2 days after I bought it. What a waste of money (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Urm.. you gotta be at least itnerested in mmorpgs to relatively enjoy FFXI. You can't just say 'Cool and game with a big world where you can do anything! Like Oblivion? Woot!'.
