Modified Xboxkrnl.4532.exe

Just a quick question. Is it possible to modify any of the date in the xboxkrnl.exe file and still have it work or is there a crc check or something to see if the file has been tampered with. Sorry if a stupid question. I am not sure what all files are signed in the NAND. I know some can be changed just not sure if this one can. Thanks for any reply.
