Yo, Hows it going everyone, I just have a quick question does anyone know if the Pioneer DVR-R100 supports bitsetting ??    , Oh wait i just read that all pioneers support it but just to make sure can anyone confirm this ?

All Pioneer DL burners support automatic bitsetting of dual layer DVD+R to DVD-ROM booktype out of the box, including my Pioneer DVR-108.  The firmware out there being advertised is to set single layer DVD+R to DVD-ROM booktype as others have said.  The DVR-108 can do single layer by using the Piodata firmware and the Buffalo firmware has been used on the DVR-110.  Nothing out for the DVR-111 yet as far as single layer DVD+R bitsetting.

i was trying 2 post about my PIONEER DVR-100D (1.39 fw) from pioneer site in the morning in skoo but skoo wont let me. mine automatically sets dvd dl into DVD-rom but theres no setting for it. it just AUTOMATIC!

what about dvd-r will this allow bit setting on those types?

And what is the differance between the 110D and the 111D?

Help! I'm a little lost???

Does my pioneer 110D support burning dual layer with bitsetting manually and is it needed to
this way to run backups successfully? Surely, the pioneers are worthy!

I am interested for testing purposes, but have some problems with the program dvdinfo!

When hitting the +RW button its states

"Pioneer Drives Do Not Support Bitsetting"

Tell me i dont need a liteon or nec??? hell no!

Is the answer with a buffalo update for the pioneer?

i have a 111d and also have this error in dvdinfo, firmware is 1.19 were do i go from here (have read that this burners default booktype is set to dvdrom

is it a problem with dvdinfo
