just wanted everyone to check and review the list at :

http://www.digitalhosting.ca/mamedb/

please continue to check it and report games that run fine in mame .79 on windows but give "malloc out of memory" errors on xbox..this will help xport focus on those games and complete the project faster and better.....

Thank you

Here are a couple games that run out of memory in mameox

Power Instinct 2 (pwins2)
Pretty Sodier Sailor Moon (sailormo+sailormn)

QUOTE
Im not sure if it is possible, but Id love to see Radiant Silvergun working in Mame.

Even if it was working on xbox I doubt any Sega Titan Video Arcade games would run anywhere near full speed since xbox is just too slow. PLus the game doesnt work properly in the latest beta of mame

Can any user or author answer this please?

Is there any way to hold F2/F3 (from the PC Mame) to skip/fix the EEPROM thingy for bad reports? For example, Run N Gun (rungun) won't load on PC (reported as a bad EEPROM) but if you hold F2 during the boot up it runs perfect now.

Anyone know?

Cheers! :)

Tekken would still run like crap unless you have a dreambox upgrade,
as for Samurai Shodown.. isnt FBA-XXX sufficent enough anymore? sad.gif

Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who's updated the mamedb list so far.  XPort will no doubt find this helpful for the project.

Lots of games have been marked!  Keep it up!!!

Cheers,

I understand your want for the list and i contributed but i'm curious as to why you cant just make every game use the vitrual memory?  Would it cause a problem for the games that dont need it?  It might save time to just copy a list of all the roms in (of course i dont know the process for making a game use the virtual memory, just curious)

Regardless of whether you turned on VM for all games, you need the list to check if the games that didn't work *before* now do work with virtual memory turned on.

I think he should just save time and just do it with the well known popular games.

Such as games made by snk, capcom, sega etc..... I'm sure he knows which ones those are.

Either way I did update that list with around 100 titles that I know for a fact don't work on the xbox.
