I'm guessing that is for duel firmware.  Are you saying you have a working hacked hitachi firmware?

Interesting....I'm looking forward to viewing the diagrams.  When would we expect to be able to purchase these?

diagrams are going to be the same as the alternate pin outs, think they are in another thread.

Soldering skill required is about the same as installing a messiah in a ps2

This is just for dual firmware by the looks of it. We can alredy do this and it isn't new? Unless I am missing something here? The wires will allow connection to a pc via sata with the 360 all boxed up so that looks sweet. Other than that I see nothing new? Please help us and tell us if there is? So I guess there isn't a Hitachi mod yet then?

No it isn't the hitachi mod,
and if so it would be very dificult to use.
Devilmod360 is only for profecional installers/developers.
This will save some hitachi-lg drives,
only if you know how to use it!

Here are the diagrams for the Toshiba-Samsoung drive,
(you all know them),
or if you don't...don't even think about it.

It looks cool and all, but I really don't see it as a mod chip.  Sure it's a modification and it's a chip, so does it technically qualify, sure.  But when I think about mod chip, I think unsigned code.  But on the same hand, it is pretty cool how we live in such a time, that if I decided to do something like this, to have multiple firmware banks, that I could choose to do so.  And eventhough this doesn't let us run unsigned code, it is another step in the right direction, to someday have that.

Either way, good luck with this, if your gonna find soldering experts anywhere that want to tweak things for the fun of it, I think your in the right place.  When it comes to hacking, there is definetly a lot of talent running around here.

It'd be nice if you could make a better versíon of the Hitach-LG diagram.

Pin 23 and pin 24 of Devil Mod design are the the same,
so if you connect only 23 you are ok!

Please explain.  How do you propose flashing the entire chip on the Hitachi?   Will it come preflashed with a non hacked M$ firmware so that we dont have to write our own firmware to it in sectors?  Did you write your own program or are you using flashsec?

Caster.
