Trying To Stream Mkv Using Tversity, Failing.
« on: December 09, 2007, 08:59:00 AM »

I've got an MKV file that I'm streaming and it's working fine, playing well but the picture comes across pixelated. Do I need to set the resolution to my TV's resolution or do I need to stream it at the correct resolution to stop it from becoming pixelated?

The file's original resolution is 1280x528, I'm assuming that because tversity has to decode and rencode somethings going crap along the way and that's why I get a bad picture?

What's the best option for playing HD movies on the 360?

Thanks

I never really got tversity to transcode anything i dont think. I just found a app called GOTSent last night. The "scene" mkv 720 files the video is fine its the audio. the audio is ac3 and needs to be acc. GOTSent will copy the video and re-encode the ac3 audio to acc and then put them both into a .mp4 file.

GOTSent is new (i think) so it may not work 100%
