Standard Def Dvd Movie Poor Image Quality On Xbox 360

Hi

i've noticed this too.

i've tried a few movies on the 360 (component & VGA) and tbh, i much prefer
the picture from my samsung HDD/DVD player via progressive.

even my modded xbox1 seems to output a better picture.

It could be because your Samsung player is upscaling the image and the 360 is not. My understanding is that in order for the upscaling to be enabled on the 360 you have to use the VGA connector.
