if you connect to xbox live, you will get any updates that are required to play videos off a usb device. make sure the videos are in .wmv format

i dont have high speed internet. i cant go to xbox live. are there any other way to update my 360 ?

i don't think you can get the updates any other way than going onto live. i am pretty sure that you can get the emulation for xbox games sent to you on a disc from microsoft, but i doubt they would put the dash updates available also. if i were you, i would just bring my 360 to someone you know who has high speed internet and hook up to live. i did that a couple times before i got a good enough modem at my place, but it is a pretty painless process once you get it over.

You should be able to go to xbox.com and download the update manually, but without a highspeed connection god knows how long that will take.
