360 Wont Recognize New Songs I Put On My Ipod
« on: September 17, 2006, 12:07:00 PM »

The 360 cannot play the tracks you download from itunes (as they are protected).

The only way around that is to convert them to mp3, and the easiest way to do that is burn them to a cd and then rip them back to your pc, then put them on your ipod.

Sorry, but it is just the way it is!

Also they must be .mp3 or .wma to work with the xbox360. To change them just open the options or preferences in i-tunes, select mp3 as the filetype for added/converted tracks, then right click the tracks in i-tunes & click "convert to mp3" (or something like that).

if you have xbox live you can download a patch for the iPod to allow playback of AAC unprotected files (.m4a)
