I have the matrix mod chip and am currently trying to set it up for xbox live. I put the chip in mode 3, but when I put in a game and hit the eject button, it tries to go to the msdashboard and crashes to error 13. I have my dashboard as evoxdash and the regular msdashboard as msxboxdash and xboxdash.

any suggestions?

Is your HD locked?

yes it is, i am trying this out on my original xbox hard drive that came with it... i never unlocked it so it should still be locked...

my plan was if i get it working with xbox live, i will lock my bigger hard drive and go from there.

Also MS Dashboard should be named xboxdash.xbe
