Adding A Switch On A Homebrew Eeprom Not Flashrom
« on: April 23, 2003, 04:19:00 AM »

Leave 16 where it is just put the 10k resistor between it and the pins and leave 32 connected to power aswell. Pin 32 and 2 dont go together maybe pin 1 and 32 or leave it unconnected to 32, and run the CAP from 32 to ground (16).

To tristate the chip you put +5v to pins 22 ( and most likely 24 and 31) depending on your eeprom. Most eeproms 1 and 31 doesnt matter what they are unless they are being written to.

You'll find it works great for XBL.

If you want a nicer solution without external switches try my HBSwitch hex code for 12c508.  If you modded psx you probably can make these with your old pic burner. It diables the mod when the xbox is started from the eject button.

Anyway  work on the switch and get it going first anyway.
