I just don't think anything can touch the sound / eerie feelings in Fatal Frame, that was a constant scare. Games like SH never really scared me other then jumping when shit jumped out.

There are two kinds of scary games... psycological horror, or the cheap gigantic spider and light speed dangling flesh dogs in resident evil.... i never really though that silent hill had any of those cheap scares like stuff jumping out at you. At least not nearly as many as resident evil. To me the games where you dont see the monsters or ghosts are more scary, but in fatal frame those ghosts were fucking insane, i literally screamed once or twice when the game would lag up and a ghost would pop outa nowhere going 500 miles an hour.

I wouldnt say scary, I dont think there are any really scary games to be honest, but AVp is defenatly one to make you jump like mad

Especially when you play the marine.

(not a game but...) if u goto www.dazy.de this music plays and then the demented face of the girl in the exorcist pops up...it freaked the shit outta me!!!

Scariest moment the lift scene in Unreal 2 where the lights go out, the monster jumps on top of the lift, the lift begins to plummet a..a..a..a..and I don't think i'll ever be over it!
