ok RE. I remember playing it on ps1 and the first time the dog jumped out of the window was awesome.
Eternal darkness was also an AMAZING game, i highly recomend it to anyone looking to get addicted to it like you were 15 yrs old all over again. (no offense to those who are younger)

Definitely Silent Hill!!! 2 and 3 were scary too.
Any game (e.g. Resident Evil) can have moments were they suddenly throw a monster out to surprise you, but Silent Hill is just pure freaky and sickening (especially the end of Silent Hill 3!!)

The NES Barbie game (emulated on xbox). Apparently even THAT rom has a nude patch applied to it.

It's scary the lengths some people will go...

I agree, ive been a big silent hill fan for the past year or two. You know that picture of the pyrimid heads with all the skewered bodies in cages picture thats hangin up in the historacy society (the one with the hole you fall through into the prison) Someone made that for me on deviant art and i got it framed

It actually looks pretty nice, silent hill 3 is the true sequal to silent hill 1 though. SH2 was kinda a side story that had nothing to do with the series. If you want a good silent hill community try www.bitter-season.net ...thier site was down for a long time, im gonna have to see if it back up

I forgot all about this game. The marine missions were creepy.

System Shock 2 was scarey too. /shudder

I just don't think anything can touch the sound / eerie feelings in Fatal Frame, that was a constant scare. Games like SH never really scared me other then jumping when shit jumped out.

Fatal Frame though, is the most scariest one with the creepiest environment I've played... Still remember the first ghost I saw in the game really made my heart goes BOOM BOOM. I should finish the game I think I'm halfway through it...
