Sony Big Shot Deathly Ill
« on: June 08, 2006, 10:17:00 AM »

Now i never thought we would see this day but it should be official that hell has frozen over and the pigs are flying.  It would seem that either this guy is ill or maybe, just MAYBE, he has a brain.....

The interview with Niall O'Hanrahan shows a different side of the gaming giant -- modesty. "We would never say we cannot fail," O'Hanrahan says in the piece. Leading up to both the PS2 and the PS3, Sony has used bold language to assert its dominance over the video-game market.

Didn't he mean to say "We'll sell 5 million even without games"?

 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Or like, "Xbox 360 is really Xbox 1.5"?

Either this guy is fired, or maybe a tiny grain of honesty is finally coming out of Sony. Or he could have brain cancer too, but I hope not.

This kind of speaking is common with MS PRs?
What about "Windows (x+1) is the greatest step forward since the introduction of Windows 95" or "Office (x+1) is so innovative that is far superior to Office (x)".
That's just PR speak dialect... and maybe this one lost his universal (mis)communicator.
