"File to Hexedit: Xboxdynamic.umd"

where do i find this file for rainbow six 3?

im at the xbox ftp server and it gives me the folders C, E, X, Y, Z

which one do i go into to find this file?

The xboxdynamic.umd is on the game disc. If you want to edit it, it must be on your hard drive (the whole game must be). Once you rip the game on your hard drive it is /game's root/system/xboxsynamic.umd.

do u mean that i have to rip the game to my computer hard drive?

how do i do that?

computers can't read xbox games.

rip the the original game to the xbox using dvd2xbox and then ftp (on your computer) and navigate to where you ripped the game to, find the file, then transfer it to your computer and hex edit the file you want.

Well you can download dvd2xbox 7.5 from xbins, a great guide on how to connect and browse through all the xbox homebrew apps/ games and other stuff is right HERE.

nvm i already found dvd2xbox somewhere else, but there's just a bunch of folders and files in "dvd2xbox v0.7.5" and there's no .exe program that i can run on my computer, how do i get it to run?

sorry for being a noob but,

which folder do i put it in on my xbox? i use smartftp to get to all the files on my xbox and my xbox has an unleashx dashboard on it so that i can ftp things to it.

When im in smartftp it shows the folders C, E, X, Y, Z for my xbox which one do i put dvd2xbox in and where excatly do i put it?

also when i'm doing this do i use the .zip folder of dvd2xbox or the extracted folder to put in my xbox?

1. you can put dvd2xbox in e:\apps, so the xbe would be in e:\apps\dvd2xbox\default.xbe
2. You must extract it
3. unleashx can rip games-- go to system, misc, copy game disc.... this will put rainbow under e:\games\rainbow six black arrow

does this have to be for black arrow or does the coding work also for rainbow six 3?

The xbox dynamic stuff only works on rainbow six and aplinter cell... and whatever games use the xboxdynamic...

Does this also work for evolution x dashboard and if so then could you post how to runthe dvd2xbox trough it. And if not, then could you teach me how to put unleash x as my dashboard. And i also use flash fxp, not smart ftp. And when ur talking about dashboard, ur talking about the screen that comes up when i run linux off of splinter cell right.

When you run linux off splinter cell, you should install the softmod.

When you boot your xbox, it will load your modified dash (i.e. evox/unleashx, w/e).

After you transfer dvd2xbox into the e:\apps folder, it will show up in the applications of your dashboard.
