Completly Retarded N00b Question(sorry)
« on: August 30, 2004, 06:37:00 AM »

The single player game doesn't change all that much from one to the other.  There's been some graphic improvements and some upgrades to the artificial intelligence of the enemies (if you can even call it intelligence) and a new single player mode called Lone Rush which is pretty much a timed run through each level added to Black Arrow.

The big difference comes in the multiplayer aspect.  Black Arrow added 2 new game modes - Total Conquest and Retrieval.  The 2 new games change the online play significantly.  Not to mention that if you are playing on Xbox Live there's support for Live 3.0 features like clans and automatic stats updates on the Live site.

I don't play on Xbox Live, but if the trends are anything like on Xlink Kai and XBox Connect then I'd say more and more people are switching over to play Black Arrow.  For the multiplayer game it's definitely light years ahead of the first release.

Keep them both. They are two seperate games. Black Arrow only has a few of the same boards. Most boards in the game are original and it did not keep every bit of content from the original RS3. They are both entirely fun! Especially on Live!
