Halo Collision Model Sucessfully Edited!
« on: December 03, 2003, 04:37:00 PM »

I was screwing around wiht the ghost model to extend the seat so the MC could lay down in it, when i noticed his feat stuck out the back. I went into milkshape, and moved the back out, but i noticed if i backed into a wall that the back would go though it up until the original point. I went back into milkshape and noticed another plane. irritated, i started over, but insted of clicking select by vertex, i cilcked select by face, and selcected the whole back. i loaded up the game and to my surprise the back end didnt go through the wall. People told me this wasnt possible, but my computer died and ive ben off for a while so im sorry if this is old news, please tell me if it is.

Have you tried with any other 3D programs yet? Just wondering because I am deseprate for an answer to the collision model problem. I've got to try this now, I'm out.!!!!

----
So let me get this straight, You edited a stock model, selecting it by face? When i try to select by facre I can't move any points or planes. So I click Face, then move??? I've got to know! What was your face threshold? 5? Redraw all veiw points? Auto tool? Damn it, MORE!!!!!!!
I knew something like this was gouing to happen right before I had to go to bed!

I need exact details! PLEASE!!!!!!! step by step, nothing left out. I want your subconscience thoughts!

I can't get Face to move any verticies. So, I'd select face/then the point, then move?
Please Pm me I need to know ALL!

Computer Now booting from oporating system... system failed memory test." Then is just sits there. I dont have a crappy computer, infact its pretty high quality and i just replaced my 200 GB hard drive. Anyone have any ideas WTF is going on?
