Maybe we can compile a list of PC mods that port to the xbox "as is" that we can include on the Xbox GTA mod site.

I'd like 2 try that one But I dont feel like having 2 restore my saved game It sounds like a hassel. Right now I have 90% of all vehicles changed and Ive tweaked it so the game runs near perfect. So Im very careful at this stage. I have backups but still.

Check out my site again if you havent looked at it lately Ive added a few things. Its starting 2 take shape.

I just wanna make a comment about the new vice city 2004 mod, i put alot of work into editing the original xbox gxt file so it displays all the mod text without screwing up the xbox text and it works spotless woth no mess in the menu, all done with just gtatexter, the only prob i have is editing the credits so that it displays mod info instead of the actual credits, but it doesnt work the way you would think it does, but any way its a mad mod, u can do so much more with this. any just my 2 cents....

I agree the 2004 mod is great. Fantastic that you have already made the necessary edits to the text!

I was spreading (unknowingly) some disinformation back when then...
In my CAP.Final related topic I said several times that I thought the .dff files were encripted as well as the .txd files (in my mind encripted includes compressed files that have no decompress program avalible... so I wasnt wrong with the .txd files)

Unfortunately I couldnt find the (long forgotten) topic I made on how to get a hacked and unmodified version of GTA3 and/or Vice City to happily live together. With saves still working correctly and everything

You could go a step farther and use the same thing to allow you to have multiple hacked versions live together as well.
