I recommend x2 5035 on bank 1 and flashbios on bank 2. You can use x2bm to make a 1mb bios where x2 5035 is banks 1 and 2 and flashbios is banks 3 and 4. Make sure you use the correct version of the bios (read the included readme).

The IGR in the evox bios is known to be buggy. The xecuter bios has a better IGR. As for what each means, quick IGR is quicker, and more compatible is ....more campatible.

Remove pin 6 and solder the alternate wire.

Ok i just need to clear this up.

use the x2_5035_v16plus_512k.bin bios bank 1 and 2
It IS bank 1&2? cause i read somewhere i should load it in bank 3&4 and the flashbios in 1&2.
I'm confused need help.

Should i even bother with evtool or just leave the bios as is?
And where can i get Flashbios?
I can only find Flashbios 3.03 and with my v1.6 box and X2.6 chip i think i need 3.01 Flashbios?

i'm sorry but i just want to be sure.  i'm getting closer and closer finishing my soldering, and i want the proper DISC when i'm done.

Do the X2.6 come with the Cromwell Flashbios on them allready, if so do i even need to load "BIOS manager 2.3"  with FlashBios.bin?

I'm not done installing the chip so i may be jumping the gun asking all these questions.

Either way. If you really want flashbios on banks 1 and 2, flash it there.

EVTool does not edit that bios. X2ool or X2 config maker do. What size is your hdd?

Yes, it comes preinstalled with it. Flashing x2 5035 should just flash 512k leaving the other 512k intact, so no, you do not need to build a 1mb, but I always have anyway.
