What Bios Are You Using For 250gb+ Hd?

When you have a 500GB HDD and you get F & G into equal parts then they will be formatted with 16k clusters.

Some people say when you format with 32k clusters smaller files take more space.

Also if you install a 750GB or when the 1TB HDD come out if you are not able to split F & G into equal parts then after 512GB formatted with 32k cluster then you will get corruption after that point unless you can format with 64k cluster and I don't think some one has released an app that let you do that.

Someone pointed me to your guys' topic..
I have a WD 300GB and after doing XBP F drive showed 123GB but it couldn't see G(yes it was enabled).
So after putting about 20GB worth of files in F I didn't want to repartition it(lose data)
So I DEselected all but G and hit Start, Y and it booted to ERROR 21 screen huh.gif WTF?

My mod info is in my sig., so I have:
Xbox V1.6
Bios...? Don't know where to get that info..?
Dashboard is whatever UnleashX build comes with Krayzie's 1.1.1 off XBINS 1 week ago
Also, I have all backups and the ISO from XboxHDM still in my possession

But, if you have a bios that supports F and G, just use a partioner and formatter like an slayers installer disk...you dont need xbpartitioner....
Just from the general talk around XS, I'm a little cautios about using Slayer's

Should I just redo XboxHDM with same drive & ISO then use XBP to make one HUGE F drive..??

No.  On a 300GB drive, you will run into corruption if you make one huge F drive.

Something else is wrong here.  Re-do XboxHD.  Make sure the C files are dash 5960.  Allow F drive and format it in XboxHDM.  See if that fixes your problem.

Ok, So redo XboxHDM, and do everything all over, but that's exactly what I did last time and G drive wouldn't work.. huh.gif
Is there some special way that you have to format G drive or something to get it to work,
or should you just be able to "Enable" it in system settings?

UnleashX lets you format the HDD from the Dashboard as long as the opion is available.  The password is "xbox" without the " ".

hey, I was wondering, in the future my uncle is getting me a 950gb HDD, (birthday present), anyway, I am having the X2 5035 bios, and then I should use XbPartitoner, to add some more partitions to not loose any extra memory right???
