QUOTE (killerbug @ Jun 10 2004, 08:49 PM)
when using the 4983 bios xbtool said it was an unrecognized kernal so i wasnt sure if it would work with it. Can i still change the colour presets with xbtool with 4983 bios?

xbtool tool will not work with 4983 because part of it is encrypted. You will not be able to change the logo color either since the code for it seems to have been removed.

that's awsome, just messing with some alpha levels?
those are the little sub blobs that are always in the animation, they just don't have the main one in the middle

Ok yet another new thing. I've managed to change the camera for the 4981 bios. Not the angle like in the other program but the actual movement. Heres a vidcap I did http://www.angelfire...gelfly/4981.avi I'm busy today so I might not be able to do anything more with it until tomorrow afternoon.

forgot to add you need to paste the link in your browser

Ive also found the locations of the camera, just having a slight difficulty maniupulating the dat#a in a meaningful way, there are also ALOT of values that need changing so it might take a while to code in the new modifications, in 4981.06 the camera offsets begin at 0x753DC

Great work guys.  If we impliment a Win32 GUI, we can add all of the features mentioned above.

The program should:
1) Load BIOS/Kernel

2) Config Blob/Fog Colours
3) Color Mod (Change the X-Logo Colours, like XBTOOL)
4) Change Camera Position

5) Export BIOS/Kernel
