In upgrading several xboxes to 128 meg, I have found certain hacked bioses do
NOT support 128 meg of memory.
Here is a list of BIOS's, that
DO support 128 meg. Hopefully, this feature can be added to the BIOS comparision
chart on XBS. So, if you plan to add the additional 64 meg, make sure you have a BIOS that recognizes it.
My tested using the following:
1.0 Xbox w/128 meg
XBMP and XBMC
MAMEoX
Memcheck
It would also be nice, for XBtool to enable or disable 128 meg support. I see no reason to have 128meg support, if you don't have it installed.
If someone knows the location and hex values that need to be changed in a BIOS, to support 128meg. Can you please post it.
