"The links posted for win_lpc don't work any more, and I can't find it anywhere. Is there any way that someone could post a new link? Thx "

Never mind.  I used GreenProg available here on xbox-scene in the Tools\Modchip LTP/USB Flash Tools directory.  I started it and then closed in and my x2cable works fine now.  hopefully this helps others.

What you need to do is this:

Download win_lpc unzip it, then execute it. It won't run correctly, but it will free up the resource to allow the driver to start. Close out win_lpc. (don't use it, just start it up and close it)

Then just go back to a DOS prompt and start over. It should work after this.
