first of all, all games arnt the same size so theres no telling how many games you can put on a hdd. and you would probably want roms/emu's also. so its all up to you but an 80gb should be fine for anyone but personally i like my 200gb

patch the bios and you can have a bigger harddrive...
(use XBtool for instance)
@cyfi: $34 seems ok for 80gb, but I guarantee you that you'll want a bigger one soon!

i only need 15 games most, i hate how these things add up though u know like a mod chip and a HD and stuff, earlier i saw someone that showed how you can hook the HD up to you computer and make it so you can copy gamed to your drive without a chip, it gave a link on there on what program to run, but the link wasnt working, how do i do it? <

um, without a chip, i dont know what your rambling about, but tsop flash, or UDE, both will get you a modded machine without any cost,
80 willl be fine for most ppl, too <

I have a 40 gig and I can fit linux (drive E:), a movie, and about 6-8 games on drive F:. I only keep 1 game on the hard drive - Halo 2. The others I put on and off at times. <
