Do these hard drives require any moding at all to get them to work.  Can you just pop it  in and play or what?

its a OEM PC drive ..i dont understand why they would sell them but i assume they are just blank drives. at least if they are unlocked you woudl need a hacked xbox to lock back up with your MB key. also the drive not indicating that it is formatted XFAT so this is really useless.

you woudl need to hack to use.

Wrong...

They are not OEM PC drives.  These are taken out of virgin Xboxes we modify and place larger HDDs in.  These are correctly formatted and contain dashboard files on them.

They are of course unlocked, which means the individual purchasing would need to lock it... requiring a modchip.

from the horses mouth

good to know

i also see you updated the webpage
"These drives come from Vigrin Xboxes that BMMods modifies for larger drives."

that is very helpfull good to know that you offer them.

---i said that because prior to that 3rd bullet there was no indication that the disk was anythign other then blank. thus causing me to assume that even though it was the xbox "looking disk" that it was not specified untill now that it actually was.
