I was wondering if the M8 bios can handle a 300 GB HDD?

137+137+5+2+1 (approx xbox drive allocations)
-8 for the Fat table

leaves you with 10 gb?  also people have reported issues of corrupt data on the 300gb I have had two xbox with 300's that would fail uner heavy heavy use so i put them back to a 250 with no issue this will remove about 30 gb on your G: but i still have about 80 games and more then enough room to spare.

Search the fourms for 300gb for the trends its a draw i have talked to as many people that make it work as people that dont. dreamx says they ship with 300gb but normally only provide a 200gb

Is there a way to partition so F took 250GB and G only took the remaining 50? Or is there a way to just use 250 for now until someone figures it out? I've got close to 200GB on a drive I'm gonna change for a 300, but I don't like the idea of having my games split into 2 partitions

yes you can use a f: fill up drive use bios like .06 however i have seen lots of issues when you jump the 137 barrier

the games on two drives is no issue.. tell your dash to search each disk and you have no idea on the GUI that you have 2 partitions.
