Ok let me get this clear. Im a newbie at the xbox, i just got it today for christmas and im 13 years old and I want to know which mod chip to buy for my xbox since i dont want to get scammed. My xbox version is 1.6 and was made in 2004-11-12 so its praticly new so please help me. Thanks.

Get a professional to help you install the modchip. For a cheaper solution, Aladdin XT will do just fine. X.B.I.T, Xecuter, Xenium, SpiderChip, SmartXX, or XCHIP are all capable of supporting v1.6 xbox. Make sure you get a BIOS that supports v1.6/1.6b

I would recommend buying an Xecuter 3 chip. It is the best chip out there! It gives you tons of features and will not let you down.

What does this have to do with TSOP flashing? 1.6 doesn't even have a TSOP.

anyway, id suggest and aladdin XT, they are cheap and reliable, but if you have no experience soldering check the local modders forum and find someone in your area to do it for you
