Our News system on our website has failed. So while we look for a new one, you'll have to bare with us on the news updates front. Despite these issues we've released a new build of MC360, revision 1096 from the SVN. You can find the download at the usual place on our website and very soon via the various mirrors we have. Enjoy.

Merry Xmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year, if any)!

My plans changed today, so I had some free time to tend to some things in MC360 that I've wanted to do since the fall update to the real Xbox 360 dashboard. I've changed some icons around, fixed the size of the Gamertag font on the Gamercard and made a few small fixes. As always the SVN is the best place to get MC360 and stay up-to-date, but for those still not with the times, I've added a build of the new revision 1077 to the MC360 downloads section. Enjoy.

The website has currently been having a lot of issues with downloads. Granqvist & myself have had a good look and we think we know whats causing it, so we've disabled the download counter for files to see if it helps. So far the site is better than before, so hopefully we've found the problem and can develope a proper fix.

Also, don't forget we have an RSS feed. If your browser doesn't automatically detect it we have a little orange icon for it at the bottom left of every page. This way you'll know as soon as things are posted.

QUOTE(http://blackbolt.x-scene.com)

Xbox Media Center recently changed the way it handles languages in skins. Previously MC360 had its custom strings (text) in a single file, 'Translations.xml'. This was a shabby method at best for people using foreign languages. Now XBMC has changed it so skins will automatically detect your language and switch the skin to match it. Team Blackbolt (Jezz_X) still has to add the files to MC360 and we still need help translating languages, but no need to seperately download them and add them as they'll be included in the skin itself from now on. If your language is not featured in MC360, the strings will default to english.

Help!  I installed the latest T3ch and the latest MC360 skin, and now many of the menu items are blank.  for example, the blades are there but the menu items like "games" "videos" etc which should be ON the blades are completly missing.  I've tried downloading a fresh copy of the skin, same thing.  So I tried another Blackbolt skin (eX) (xTV rather) and it's doing the same thing.  Vision appears to be doing it too, but not as badly.  the xBox theme and Project Mayhem III are fine.

So, what can I do to get the blade menu text back??

Ah... It looks like I was using the wrong skin download "MC360_Rev1044-02Dec2007"

I'm trying "MC360_Rev1049-03Dec2007" and will post back with the results.

Thanks!

that T3CH logo is normal ... it will display when running the MC360 skin.

as far as changing dashboard... my advice is to just load up XBMC as a application for now as thats the easiest thing for me to tell you... if you wanted to make a permanent change you would need to find out what BIOS your running on your system etc or if it's softmoded odds are you might need to change a few things on the E:\dashboard folder or some variation... but i aint going to get into details.

my advice is to just load up XBMC as a application if you dont know what your doing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
