I am very, very new with the inside of a xbox and I know this is question that everybody heard but I never heard an answer to. I turn on my Xbox it goes thru the intro displays the Xbox logo then it gives me a message saying "Your Xbox requies service" and I was wonder if there is a way to fix this. Like I said I am new at this but I have a background electronics and I am hoping to be able to fix this my self. If you want to email that would be great at

There is no error code and I didn't do any mods to it
The eject button is flashing red and green.

Have you actually been inside it?
It not displaying an error code kinda puts pay to any hopes of fixing it yourself.
If so were you carely enough to peel back the label rather than breaking it? If so, just send it back

The warrenty has expired on it and I have it open right now.
It was going to cost my $148.50 + tax to get it fixed so I decided to go buy a new one but I would still like to fix the old one.
