how could we add another menu item below that for the script?  i have emus that aren't supported with the emulauncher script and still want to access them through the xbmc arcade button.  Like So:

GAMES
ARCADE
APPLICATIONS
SAVES
EMULAUNCHER

is this possible?

I did it!!!  i editted the menu to have Emulauncher as an item in the games menu!!!  here are the xml files you have to replace.

Emulauncher must be installed in: XBMC/Scripts directory.  all the files must be in a folder named "Launcher", and the script must be named "Launcher.py" for this to work.

Well, I am open to anything, if BB want to incorperate this into MC360, I would be more than happy with adjusting it to his needs..

When I launched MC360 first time i was really disappointed when discovered that XBMC Arcade is only fancy name for Emulators shortcuts. I expected script similar to Game Saves Manager (Other features of MC360 was of course very cool)
In my opinion script such as Emulauncher better deserves for "name"  Arcade. And there is simple solution for unsupported emulators: make that  link  (<onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(1,Emulators)</onclick>) part of Emulauncher.

well i can make it to where it is on the Arcade button. when you press it it would go to the script. and when you back out of the script it would go to the Arcade screen as we know it now.  I know it will do this cause i accidentally had an extra window pop up when i first did the mod.  so i know it will work.  i could make a second version that would do this if it is wanted.

I would suggest to move this topic to the Mod section as it suits better. smile.gif

thats good that the folder and file names wont change.  just gotta watch the xmls in mc360 to make sure they dont change...  which i noticed that the july 27 release did. it didnt make the emulauncher unusable.. just some minor things i noticed in the includes.xml...

ok here is one to test and see if it works. i am at work.. so no way to see if it works.  but looks like nothing has really changed in the xmls but i like to use the new ones incase any lines have been added for other menus and such.

let me know how it works.

as usual just replace the files in the zip with the ones in the MC360 PAL folder
