The keymap.xml have nothing todo with the skin as it is a part of XBMC...

Why would it be the deafult skin?!

Closed source = Cant be in cvs = Cant be default skin

And the keymap.xml is used by ALL skins...

Its your imagination, no one except users of it have said that they will use it over PM3 permanatly.
PM3 will remain default

Probably not no, we will keep to real 360 functionality and keep the real buttons on the screen.
