Well, Ive just thought about something. How cool would an always-accessible home-blade built into a bios be, like what the 360 has?

By home(guide?) blade, I mean the thing that you can always access that has features like return to dashboard, change settings, etc. On the 360, it can be accessed anytime during a game.

I beleive its very possible, seeing what the xecuter 3 live bioses do, just maybe not to the extent of the 360. This could be incorporated into xbmc (somewhat) so that it launches a certain part of xbmc (or any other app for that matter) whenever a certain button is pressed on the home blade. Check out a 360 and you'll know what I mean. Its pretty cool.

Anyways, just a thought. What do you guys think?

Even if it were possible to do something like this through the bios, the games don't support it.
It's impossible...

I wouldn't say it's totally impossible. There is a possibility of added functionality shown by the IGR that most modchips have. You know that the bios can be accessed during a game through a controller combinations. If there is a talented innovator out there who wants it enough.... who knows.
