Hello everybody,

I am one of the founders of project XBMC-TV which is a large collection of .strm files (around 200 LIVE streaming TV channels and webcams now, more to come) that is designed and tested to work with XBMC. Actually the project is intended to be the one-stop-solution for .strm files on XBMC and should render downloading various streampacks from various sites obsolete. Right now it seems as if the small project founded three weeks ago is growing faster than I or anybody else thought. So this is the reason why we, the project team, believe we should be having a project logo that could be used on the website and aswell as a folder icon/script icon.

If you have an idea for a logo, if you do have the skills and wouldn't mind spending some precious spare time for doing one we would be very happy

So, if you intend to create a logo, plz let us know

Hello everybody,

In the past few days we (the development team) have had quite a lot of talks going on, concerning the logo. First of all let me say, that REALLY everyone of you did a great job and each logo REALLY has its' own style and certainly got something to it. I want to say THANK YOU to everyobdy who contributed! THANK YOU for offering your precious spare time and dedicating it to XBMC-TV!

But after going through all of the suggestions we've come to the conclusion, that only some of the logos are coming close to things we would like to see in a logo. Here's a small list of things that came up during the internal discussion:

- A good logo should say more than a thousand words

People should be able to get the basic idea that is behind XBMC-TV just by looking at the logo. As XBMC-TV is about TV and streaming and XBMC, this should be picked up by a logo. Having a TV in the logo is certainly a good idea

- The use of the logo will be follows: Website, Blog, Wiki, Folder icon, upcoming XBMC-TV Python script, Forum icon, ...

I hereby encourage everyone who has contributed so far to rework their original designs, as far as necessary and as far as time makes it possible. A BIG THANK YOU is given in advance!

If you have any further ideas what should be in the logo, plz let us know here or send me a PM. We want to lead this discussion as openly as possible, because only many minds could contribute to a great idea

BTW, the logo that will be picked will be fully credited. If you then wish to be linked, this is absolutely no problem.
