c_poussard  I'm am know expert but I think you would need program a PoPPE app.
I think it would be more trouble than its worth, unless your doing it for academic reasons.  I would suggest getting a router if you need this functionality personally. They can be had for a little as $20 after rebates.  If you have verizon dsl you can call for a replacement modem; the new one they ship is a modem and 1 port router (I have this), just add a hub or switch and your good to go.
