« on: November 18, 2005, 12:55:00 AM »

i just thought i would be the first to bring up the topic since alot of people are getting their xbox 360's..

windows on the xbox360 wont happen for a while since no one is familiar with the xbox360 architecture. plus its not possible to run unsigned code on it yet..

but still, what do you guys reckon?

i was just thinking the exact same thing, i suppose its possible, i just hope that MS do some type of update that allows mp3s and other audio and videos formats to be streamed or stored on the xbox hard-disk. Sadly i`m turning into an xbox fanboy, really hating sony at the moment, especially with the ps3 completely, and the psp, is good but i expected better lol

It will be inpossible to have windows run on the 360 native.. Why? Well the xbox360 processor's are g5 processors.. :-P It will have to run on an emulator.. Even if we HAD the source code your talking about 10 developers needed to port it to this processor.. Simply won't happen for free.. Linux programemrs won't do it (we stick to linux). Don't look forward to it..
