Bsically your need to unlock the HDD on the PC. Then get the eeprom data from the new mobo and use this with the liveinfo tool to generate the correct password for the HDD on the new mobo. Then lock it with this password.
Getting the eeprom from the new mobo is the problem if it didn't come with a working locked HDD. Only solution I see is borrow a solderless modchip from someone to boot Evox and use it's backup option to get the eeprom.

Unlockx and hdlock/hdunlock are decent locking/unlocking tools for the PC.

Ok, here is what I'm trying to do. My friend fried his last mobo and so he bought a new working v1.0 on ebay. The mobo came without a hdd. Can I use the upgraded samsung hdd that was locked while being used on his old mobo? Is there any way to unlock it?
