A new special edition of the homebrew game 'Super Mario War(info)' for
PC and Xbox(1) has been released.
What's new:
* Complete graphics, sound, music, worlds, and maps update for halloween
* Based on SMW 1.8 Beta 2
* Animated tiles in platforms
* Tons of bug fixes from Beta 1
* New levels full of cauldrons, castles, pumpkins, mummies and more!
* Update by: General Guy, Link901, KingPepe, MC Jimmy, Mr Mister,
Tanuki, XS197, Asgardreid, Gadouken, LKA, and JJames19119

Well it was released on Halloween, just not posted as news here until today. Nothing stopping you from playing it after Halloween though. Screenshots look pretty good.

Haha... this game is great.  I saw screens on it a while back and wanted to play the update.  I'll have to get me this.  Glad ya'all are still working on it.

Recently discovered this series, but have a question...

Is this edition entirely Halloween related...

...Or...

...is it just the latest release with the most up to date gameplay that was released around Halloween which also includes some holiday content?
