Games That Standalone using xbox XDuke
These game will save

Game: NAM 1998 GT Interactive Software Corp
aka: Napalm, Platoon II
NAM uses the Duke3D Atomic Engine
Rename GRP To DUKE3D.GRP
Rename CFG To DUKE3D.CFG
copy con/RTS in CFG Edit controller type to 2
Edit xduke default.xbe name. use C-XBOX Tool2 to Rename
When you start the game you can edit controls in joystick setup
Nam Addon Tour of duty IV ftp://trillian.bbs42.com/pub/games/nam/
Nam can not be used in wad.cfg for xduke

Game: Borg Nukem TC
Rename GRP To DUKE3D.GRP
copy cons
Rename use C-Xbox Tool2

Game: City terror Gold edition TC
Rename GRP to DUKE3D.GRP
copy cons
Rename use c-xbox tool2

Game: Duke Zone 2
Rename GRP to DUKE3D.GRP
copy cons
only thing is Episodes don't display
Thay display as Duke Episodes

Games that play but don't save

Game: Pluder & Pillage
Also known as: Plunder and Pillage Demo Freeware
Developer: Petrilla Entertainment Year:2001
Rename GRP To DUKE3D.GRP
copy con/rts

Game:Quest for Al-Qa'eda-The Hunt for Bin Laden Freeware
Developer: Petrilla Entertainment Year: 2002
Rename GRP TO DUKE3D.GRP
copy cons/rts

Game:Quest for Hussein Freeware
Developer: Petrilla Entertainment Year: 2002
Rename GRP TO DUKE3D.GRP
copy cons/rts

These games can save during game play but when you restart the game
the save game is not show up you must be delete save file or your
duke save game will not show up when load xduke

A lil birdy just told me that someone just put NAM on that place in the sky...not that i know what that means or anything....

on duke zone 2 the atomic ed for the Episodes name to show up just rename the dz-game.con to game.con
and for the non atomic ed you have to add the name in the dz-game.con to show up
and rename it to game.con. duke zone 2 non atomic will not work if you do not rename game.con

These games will save you just have to delete duke.logs
because of the .v1.3 and atomic ed have save game issue with each other

Cause the last time i checked those were comercial products.

Doesn't make any difference if its just a link, you are still giving out warez.
and you said "stand alone" which means the game is a full version and not a demo.

How about being able to play user made maps in xDuke? In DoomX you can play user made wads. Why not in xDuke?!
