There were ways of doing it on the PC with a trainer... multiplayer bots that is.

I'm sure that if anyone ports this they can go ahead and implement it since it must be there if it can be unlocked with a simple trainer.

Yes there are bots in the skirmish mode. I remember the fun I had playing on mplayer as a marine and catching people on fire with the flame thrower in coop mode. I'm not sure if multiplayer will work, because it hasn't even been added to the linux build (which hasn't been updated in a while, and is still only CVS). You can check out the status of the linux build here http://www.icculus.org/avp/ . I really hope someone considers porting this awesome game, I know myself and many others would really appreciate it.

EDIT: I would also like to express my thanks for everyone who has shown enthusiasm in the idea of porting this to xbox, hopefully some developers will look at this thread and consider porting it. Thank you all.

Hi, I'm sure there are many others out there that would enjoy a port of this wonderful game as well. There is already a linux port, but it still remains incomplete (missing multiplayer, some gfx, etc). If there is anway to do a near complete xbox port I would really appreciate it smile.gif.

Here are the full sources (choose a link, save target): smile.gif

i tried to get this game working on my computer last year, but you know what bloody XP is like when it comes to old games. i could only play a bit of the first level, but from what i played, it looked great. i look forward to seeing an xbox port in the near future.
