Help I just tried to flash my tsop I think the box is a v1.2 it came w/star wars and tetris it has a winbond tsop W49F020T-90B I used the tutoral on the scene and solderd the top jumper by the lpc and the bottem jumpers and I backed up original bios ok and when I went to reflash w/ 256k x2 4976.02 bios it said it flashed ok but no i goto my box and reboot and i get the box comes on then off like 3 times then i get a red/green flashing light HELP is the any way to fix?

or did I just make a door stop? what mod chip should I get to reflash my tsop? I have flashed like 10 v1.0 and like 7 v1.1 boxes with out a hitch..

did you use the new rainciat and did you update the raincat.conf file??

To reflash the tsop you can use the matrix. Just flash the chip with the evox tsopD6.bin bios. Once you have boot up with that bios you can reflash the tsop.

you may have flashed a 1.4 or 1.5 box with an incompatible bios. What is the manufacture date? xbox-scene version page

That can only be done with a 1.0 box

NO!!!you can't flash the TSOP with matrix in this case....matrix do not work on V1.2 on top of that ur tsop is hosed...so not even a single back is good...so LPC mods are out of the question....you will have to use a Home brew 29 wires to recover the TSOP

Well All I did some more digging and found out that the mobo was a v1.4. I have a x2 lite is there any way I can reflash the tsop with that or will I have to use chepmod or matrix or homebrew?? If anyone could help on where I could get a mod I would buy one in case this happens again that will allow me to do this would be great... Oh yea like I said in the first post I used x2 4976.02 256k to flash what bios should I be using v1.4 w/ a winbond W49F020T-90B??

you have to use evox M7, but you do need a 29 wire mod to reflash your TSOP, however you can flash your x2 lite (assuming its a 2.2) will be able to boot with M7, you just wont be able to disable it

however, a trick to get you on Live (if you so desire) would be to flash you chip with half original and half M7, so you can just change your bios bank to boot retail and go on Live (that should work, assuming the chip does not allow the top half of the bioschip to see the bottom half)

Its a xecuter 2.1 lite can I still use the m7 bios with that and where can i get a 29 wire mod?

Does any one know where to ge a 29 wire homebrew from? If you could post a link it would be great.. I searched all of yahoo w/ no avail
