« on: May 06, 2003, 04:44:00 PM »

HI everyone probably a very stupid question, but hey i am a newbe, I searched everything but ik can't find an answer. WHy would ik want to flash the tsop when i have a modchip installed. What benefits does it bring me. Or do you only want to flash the tsop if you don't want to install a chip???

the only real advantage is no wires to break loose later on and cost savings.
I install both for people here, if I flash the tsop I can still put a disable switch on there and the ability for them to upgrade there bios at a later time, so the only real disadvantage to it is, it's a little tougher than just installing a chip. most people who havent purchased a chip see this way of modding there xbox better because they dont have to spend 30 -50 dollars or more on a mod chip.

Hi all i flash TSOP when mod chips frist came out. And it's worked great. but i want to get a X-Ecuter 2.0 LITE(+) and put the originol bios back on the TSOP then use the  X-Ecuter 2.0 LITE(+) for back ups. Then play xb live when i turn off mod chip.

Can i do this ?

When i put the mod chip in it takes over. So iam guessing i can does xb live look at the bios to see if it can be witien to?
