Can't Flash Bios Without Setting Clock

im not trying to flash the tsop. Im trying to flash the xenium ice chip. Which if i flash it in a friends xbox and then put it in mine i should be able to load slayers auto cd from a crw or dvdr. Is there any chance this will work or am i just wasting my time.
